Benefits and discounts
Friend's Pass holders can make free use of the library collections and all generally accessible facilities in the library.* Upon presentation of the Friend's Pass and a valid form of identification, you will receive a library card worth €50 from the UB, including a login code. This allows you to borrow physical materials. To access the digital collections, you will need a guest Solis-ID. More information on this can be found on the University Library's website.
*Unfortunately, it is not possible to access the library collections from home, as the UB's publisher licenses do not permit this.
Botanic Gardens
The Botanic Gardens at the Utrechts Science Park are free to access for Friends (upon presentation of the Friend's Pass).

Parnassos
Parnassos Cultuurcentrum is the cultural center of Utrecht University. UU alumni in possession of a Friend's Pass can take part in a course at Parnassos at a discounted rate (rate group 2). Parnassos offers a large and varied range of courses: visual art, music, dance, theater, and photography, but also graphic design, general music theory, yoga, and knitting.

University Museum Utrecht
Friend's Pass holders have free access, upon presentation of the pass, to the University Museum Utrecht and its beautiful adjoining Oude Hortus (the university's former botanical garden).

Olympos
Sports center Olympos is the sports center of Utrecht University and has the widest range of sports in the province of Utrecht. With the special OlymPass, you have virtually unlimited and flexible access to more than 40 different sports.
With the OlymPass, you can, for example, enjoy unlimited:
- free training at the Olympos fitness center, including a personal schedule, core strength, and circuit training;
- free training at the second fitness and strength training location, Kratistos (in the P+R next to Olympos);
- participation in all group classes (such as yoga, pilates, spinning, bootcamp, etc., more than 75 classes per week);
- free squash and free tennis;
- an introduction to climbing, obtaining your climbing proficiency certificate, and free climbing on the outdoor climbing wall Kalymnos;
- participation in courses (such as running, squash, volleyball, tennis, strength training, etc.);
- participation in the football competitions and the tennis and squash ladders;
- last-minute accommodation rental.
UU alumni can purchase the OlymPass at a discount (rate B) upon presentation of a valid Friend's Pass and a form of identification. The OlymPass then costs €310 per year or €31 per month.
