Contribute to regenerative medicine

Regenerative medicine focuses on developing new treatments that restore or replace cells, tissues and organ functions after damage from disease or injury. 3D bioprinting can be used to build tissues that resemble human tissue. One of the challenges is that cells in large-sized tissues have limited function or even die due to lack of oxygen.

Using algae as a natural oxygen provider can solve this problem. By combining algae with 3D printing technology, larger living tissues such as cartilage, heart and liver can be developed in the future. Ultimately, this could allow many medical challenges to be researched and solved. Contribute to this innovative research with algae.
