About the Utrecht University Fund
The Utrecht University Fund was founded in 1886 by alumni of Utrecht University. Together with students, alumni and staff of the university, the fund realizes projects in the areas of education, research, student life and academic heritage.
Objective
The Utrecht University Fund aims to promote the growth and prosperity of Utrecht University. We do this by maintaining lifelong connections with alumni and bringing generations together to make a difference for a better future. We provide funding for, amongst other things, the promotion of academic research and education (including the awarding of grants and scholarships), the promotion of activities that benefit the student community, and activities that benefit (the preservation of) academic heritage. Through the University Fund, students and researchers can go out into the world, and the world comes to the university.
