Utrecht University Digital Autonomy Assesment Framework
The Utrecht University Digital Autonomy Assessment Framework (DAAF) enables organisations to identify digital vulnerabilities and dependencies. By answering a series of questions in the assessment tool, you can easily determine whether immediate action is required for a particular application or not.
The tool assesses applications on three levels: how significant are the external risks, how well can the institution mitigate them, and how important is the application to core tasks? This combination yields an autonomy score that highlights where the urgency is greatest, but also where there is concrete scope for improvement. The tool is continuously being developed.
