Project FIRES

FIRES ( Financial and Institutional Reforms to build an Entrepreneurial Society) aims to formulate practical reform proposals in the realms of finance, labor and knowledge to enable the small scale, experimental and innovative bottom up activity that is needed to revitalize Europe’s economy in the 21st century. To ensure practical relevance and applicability relevant stakeholders are engaged throughout the project.

IRIS (Integrated and Replicable Solutions for Co-Creation in Sustainable Cities) is a Horizon 2020 EU funded project revolving around the preservation of energy and mobility at neighbourhood level with ICT and civilian involvement..The project has been developed around three - Utrecht (The Netherlands, coordinator), Nice (France), and Gothenburg (Sweden) - who will work as collaborators and test-beds for follower cities.

Entrepreneurship courses at Plan Einstein

Utrecht University offers courses in International Entrepreneurship to local residents at Plan Einstein. Refugees are often enterprising people. With the help of these courses they can work on economic self-reliance in any country. These courses also help neighborhood residents develop opportunities and skills to set up their own company.
