Entrepreneurship Day 2019
ARE YOU PITCHING (IN)?
On the night of November 20th the Centre for Entrepreneurship and UtrechtInc Students will host the Entrepreneurship Day 2019. At JIM Utrecht we will provide a fun evening to unleash your entrepreneurial spirit.
Inspiring entrepreneurs will pitch you the greatest challenges they face with their companies, counting on your creativity and outside-of-the-box ideas to help them tackle these challenges. There will be drinks and networking opportunities. This second edition of the Entrepreneurship Day (or evening, mind you) is open to all Utrecht University students and free of charge.
Registration is closed.

PROGRAMME
We invited some inspiring entrepreneurs to climb the stage! Here they are:
Keynote by Jan-Paul de Beer, co-founder and chief of Springlab
How do you convince a brand like HEINEKEN to be your customer? What's that million-dollar-tweet every startup wishes for? Jan-Paul de Beer, our keynote speaker, started in advertising. One of the marketing stunts ended up on the eight o'clock news... For the last few years he has used his creativity to stimulate exercise and dynamic learning for young children, as co-founder and chief of Springlab. With years of entrepreneurship experience, he tells us all about the wild ride it can be.
Pitch by FRGRND
UU-alumni Rachelle Leerling (1995) and Fleur Huijs (1999) share a passion for presenting, campaigning, innovating and bringing people together. They recently joined forces and started FRGRND, helping (public) organisations to become a future proof employer for Generation Z, the first Digital Native generation. Your generation.
Pitch by Bostelbakkers
Enactus venture Bostelbakkers uses brewer's spent grain, a waste product from brewing beer, to bake Bokkies: seriously delicious cookies. With grain from local breweries, the cookies are made by a small team of students and refugees (who meanwhile practice their Dutch). How can Bostelbakkers upscale their artisanal baking process, without losing their social function?
Our hosts: BrainstormGroup & UtrechtInc Students
During the Entrepreneurship Day we are guests of BrainstormGroup, a collective of young and ambitious entrepreneurs at JIM Utrecht. And brainstorm we will, collectively, on the challenges presented by our pitching companies: Bostelbakkers and FRGRND.
On stage, our hosts will be Max Schmal and Eloisa Vittoria Menguzzo of the UtrechtInc Students' Board.
