Workshop for teachers

Many teachers recognise the value of entrepreneurial skills in higher education and would like to make their own students more entrepreneurial. But what kind of education contributes to the development of an entrepreunerial mind and ditto skills?

Designing Entrepreneurship Education

The Utrecht University Centre for Entrepreneurship offers a teacher's workshop dedicated to this topic, tailored to teacher teams. During the workshop we discuss what entrepreneurial education could look like within your own discipline, share inspiring examples and immediately give you the tools to make existing courses (more) entrepreneurial. At the end of the workshop you know what is needed for entrepreneurship education in higher education and you will have examined your own course with the canvas for entrepreneurship education.

Bring your colleagues

Earlier study programmes that attended the workshop indicated that it was worthwhile to participate in this workshop with like-minded colleagues, because the courses were familiar to everyone - this way the participants were able to take joint steps and integrate the learnings on a broad level. Therefore, we warmly invite you to book the workshop with (part of) your study programme or teacher team.

The practical approach, combined with the necessary theoretical background on entrepreneurship education, makes this workshop a good starting point for teacher teams to design courses that spark more entrepreneurship among students. The participating teachers left with lots of ideas, some of them directly applicable to further improve their course.
