Sharing Days
From June 5 to 8, 2024, the third edition of Sharing Days took place. We look back on a very successful alumni festival full of inspiring activities and encounters.
The annual celebration of the mind was blessed with lovely sunny weather. Festival hearts were buzzing with live music and joyful conversation. On Wednesday, visitors enjoyed the green surroundings of the Botanical Gardens, while on Thursday they strolled through downtown. Saturday offered the opportunity to take the whole family to the Utrecht University Museum and take a look at the Old Hortus: the museum's hidden garden.
Very varied program - so something for everyone; you get to places you would never get to otherwise.
The program included 31 activities, organized in cooperation with 13 partners. Visitors enjoyed numerous workshops, tours and master classes in the fields of science, culture and sports. In addition, there were city tours, film screenings and various food and drink options: from luxury drinks boxes to picnic baskets with daily fresh produce.
Was informative, fun way to get to know other alumni and not obvious topics.
Opportunity to experience or learn something you wouldn't otherwise be so exposed to. Had interesting tour of the city, saw new things I hadn't noticed before.
All in all, the Sharing Days 2024 were an unforgettable experience where alumni not only made memories, but also actively contributed to the future of Utrecht University.
Keep an eye on this page for next year's dates.
