Shanghai

China is in the top 10 of countries where Utrecht University alumni live after they graduate. A relative large part of this group lives in Shanghai. The UU Alumni Network Shanghai brings all these former UU (exchange) students and PhD's together. Most of them hold the Chinese or Dutch nationality.

Alumni Network Shanghai

The alumni network in Shanghai get's together about three times per year. 
The Holland Alumni Dinner at the end of October is an annually recurring event. As well as a dinner with UU students from the Netherlands Asia Honours Summer School (NAHSS), which takes place every year in August.
In adition we host a third event during which we visit the organisation/company of one of the members of the network.

UU in Shanghai

Every year Utrecht University visits China during the fall for recruitment activities. We join education fairs and give presentations at universities and (international) high schools.
Alumni Outreach Ambassadors join us at these events to share their UU experience with potential new students from China.
