27 November 2025 - After Work Drinks Utrecht
Every last Thursday of the month—except when there is another network activity that month—we get together after work for drinks, networking, and fun.
23 October 2025 - Alumni Talk Israel Palestine: a conflict from hell
UU professor Peter Malcontent, an expert in the history of international human rights and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, gave a very interesting lecture on the history and future of this conflict. His lecture was followed by many questions and lively discussions.
24 September 2025 - After Work Drinks Utrecht
The first informal After Work Drinks session for international alumni at the Faculty Club in Utrecht.
12 June 2025 - Sharing Days Alumni Talk
Lecture by UU professor Catalina Goanta on “Safety on social media: threats from across the ocean.”
26 March 2025 - Information session on visa options for international graduates
In collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, we organized this highly useful and practical session on residence permits for highly skilled workers. Several international alumni who had already gone through the application process shared their valuable experiences.
26 November 2024 - Kick Off Meeting Network International UU Alumni in NL
Initiated by several enthusiastic UU alumni, we kicked off this network specifically for internationals in the Netherlands. The high turnout demonstrated the need for this network. UU professor Walter Immerzeel gave a lecture on climate change and participants were invited to share their ideas and wishes for the network.
