By including Utrecht University Fund in your will, you will contribute to the University's future. With your bequest, new generations of students and researchers will be able to develop at Utrecht University and in turn make a valuable contribution to society


Testamentary disposition

You can include the Utrecht University Fund as a (co-)heir alongside your children, family members or other good causes. This means that, together with your other heirs, the Utrecht University Fund will be entitled to your entire estate. Your estate will be shared among the heirs in accordance with the stipulations you have made in your will.


A legacy is a clearly-described donation or a specified amount of money. You can include the Utrecht University Fund in your will in the form of a legacy, stipulating that the Utrecht University Fund will receive a specific amount or property (such as a house or a valuable work of art).

Tax related aspects

The Utrecht University Fund Foundation has Public Benefit Organisation (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, ANBI) status according to the Tax and Customs Administration. This means that no inheritance tax is payable on your bequest and it can be used fully for the cause of your choice.
