AI fraud
In the model Education and Examination Regulations (EER) (link to intranet, login required), and in its detailed regulation by each faculty and/or educational programme, the definition of AI fraud is specified. We do not refer to this as plagiarism, since plagiarism originates from a human source. AI is not human.
Students have been informed about what is considered AI fraud through the page AI Fraud on the student part of the AI policy website.
More information will soon be available on this page about AI fraud, the AI assessment policy applied at the central UU level, and the measures faculties are required to implement regarding examinations to ensure the quality of education.
The AI assessment policy and AI fraud prevention team is currently working on a reference document. This document will not only provide AI assessment policies and frameworks, but will also include an overview of AI-resilient assessment methods, AI fraud risk analysis, legal backgrounds, guidance on preparing for audits, and practical recommendations.
