Support desk for access to expertise on NAMs

Suppo³Rt is open to anyone who needs additional expertise on NAMs in the field of (bio)medical research. Whether you work at an Animal Welfare Body or Animal Experiment Committee, or you are a researcher who is curious about animal-free technologies but not sure where to begin: everyone is welcome.

At Suppo³Rt we work along the following structured approach:

1. You contact us with your research question via the support desk.
2. We schedule an intake with you to clarify your specific needs.  
3. We identify the expert(s) best suited to your field and confirm their availability.
4. You, the expert(s) and the 3RCU sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to ensure confidentiality.
5. We connect you to the relevant expert(s); 3RCU acts as a moderator throughout.
6. A conversation takes place between you and the expert(s).
7. This results in a confidential, non-binding advice, which can be formalized into a report if desired.
8. We shortly evaluate the approach and your experience with Suppo³Rt.

Suppo³Rt is currently in a piloting phase, so consultation is completely free of charge.

Recently, the 3RCU offered UMC Utrecht researchers a new perspective on their approach to hearing loss research, for which no in vitro model existed. Suppo³Rt connected them with international experts, resulting in a multi-centre collaboration that now combines in vivo experiments with parallel studies using stem cell-based models. Read the full story here.

The support desk connects to the EU COST Action IMP₃ROVE NAMs Expert Database, which has been established in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your personal data is only used for the support desk, sharing it is voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time.
