"To me, diversity and inclusion means that everybody is on an equal footing."
Lisa Luchtenberg is visually impaired. She works as a project assistant at Utrecht University and she is a member of the Netwerk USP Inclusief (in Dutch). In this video she shares what diversity and inclusion means to her: "That everybody is on an equal footing, with everybody allowed to join in, everybody getting the same opportunities and being respected for who they are."
This video interview is part of a series of interviews in March about Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. In addition, the programme Equality, Diversity & Inclusion organises various (online) activities in March, such as lectures and (creative) workshops for students, employees, alumni and other interested parties.
