On 3 April 2016, the three short-listed Camera Interactiva creative stories on citizenship will compete for a Young Creative Talent Award. You now have a chance to support your favourite story by voting online. The team whose project will get the most votes will be awarded an additional 'Audience Favourite' prize of € 500. The voting ends on 2 April at 23:00h.
Three short creative stories will be presented during the premiere:
- Limbo Citizen by Lillian Dam Bracia and Pien de Hollander
- Paper Paradise by Eva van Roekel and Floor de Bie
- Reality 3.0 by Omar Daou and Anna Ies Willems
The jury comprised of professionals, academics and NGO representatives will decide which of the three teams will receive a Young Creative Talent Award worth € 1500, and which two teams will receive additional prizes of € 500 per team.
The premiere will take place on 3 April at 11:00h at the Louis Hartlooper Complex in Utrecht. This event is part of the Cultural Sunday ‘Science in the City’, dedicated to the 76th lustrum of Utrecht University.
About the programme
Camera Interactiva is a talent development programme in which students from the academia and the arts as well as young creative professionals bring forth creative interactive visual projects that are inspired by and linked to the city of Utrecht, within the topic of Citizenship. The programme is an initiative of the Centre for the Humanities, implemented together with city and university partners.
