Job offer

The Utrecht University offers a fully paid 4-year PhD position on the intersection of agent-based and causal modelling. The position is a collaboration between the Intelligent Systems lab, Center for Complex Systems Studies, the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, and the Department of Data Science and Biostatistics at the Julius Center, University Medical Center Utrecht. The position falls under the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities (solid pension scheme, substantial holiday leave, paid sick leave, maternity/paternity leave) with a gross monthly salary between €2,901 and €3,707, 8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus.

Requirements and vacancy

Candidates are expected to have a MSc degree (or are near to completing one) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields. The application deadline is 16 June 2025.
