UU data security on mobile devices completed

Last year we worked hard to secure additional UU data on cell phones and tablets of all employees. The Solis Cloud Endpoint Management project has now been completed.

All devices are secured

All employees have now been converted thanks to the Solis Cloud Endpoint Management project. With this, UU data can only be accessed via a secured area on your cell phone or tablet. To access your UU data, it is important to first enter a code (or use a fingerprint) to open Office apps (Outlook, Teams, etc.). In this way, unwanted persons with physical access to a phone or tablet (e.g., in case of loss or theft) can no longer access UU data.

Easier where possible, more secure where necessary

We understand that a security measure like this means that sometimes we have to take an extra action to access our data. Examples such as the hack of Maastricht University show the need for good security of IT systems and devices. We therefore always make a consideration between user convenience and necessity.
