The Sustainable Young 100 (Dutch name: Duurzame Jonge 100) features eighteen students and alumni of Utrecht University. Last Friday, project bureau SustainableMotion made the list public. It shows the 100 most sustainable young entrepreneurs, young professionals and students.

The university congratulates the following students and alumni with their positions:

SUSTAINABILITY AND UTRECHT UNIVERSITY

These Utrecht University-based students and alumni in the Sustainable Young 100 symbolise the attention the university has for sustainability. In the field of research, it unites its scientists within the research theme Sustainability.

In education, every student has to deal with sustainability sooner or later. Of course, the institution itself becomes more sustainable too. Utrecht University will be fully CO2 neutral by 2030. Furthermore, the Green Office dedicates itself to helping students, employees and people who are interested to work, live and travel in more sustainable ways.

SUSTAINABLE YOUNG 100

This list contains the 100 most inspiring young sustainability trailblazers aged 32 or younger. A jury consisting of people from the corporate community, science and charity compile this list every year. For this, they pay attention to impact, innovation, vision and inspiration that these trailblazers in sustainability have.

SustainableMotion is the initiator of the Sustainable Young 100. This is a project bureau that connects students and starting entrepreneurs to put their knowledge on sustainability into practice and to communicate about it.
