Utrecht-based students showered with awards during Model United Nations
International recognition for interdisciplinary cooperation
Seventeen students of Utrecht University return with success from the Model United Nations. The team of Utrecht University Model United Nations (UUMUN) competed at Harvard (United States) against 3000 students from international top-quality universities from 69 countries. No less than nine students received individual awards.
The Model United Nations mimic the work of the United Nations. For four days, the students were challenged outside their own specialisations. They discussed about international questions such as espionage, climate engineering, terrorism and the danger of solar storms.
