University Library supports publishing with impact
In 2020, scientific publishing is no longer just about getting articles in journals with a high impact factor. Under the influence of open science and research impact, the publishing landscape has become increasingly diverse: think of openly sharing data, software, and video. The ever growing societal demand for research impact is also a significant factor.
The university library closely follows these developments and over the years our experts have accumulated knowledge about publishing with impact. This knowledge is now bundled in one office: Publishing Support.
Colleagues inside and outside the university library closely monitor the latest developments in changing publishing models, and actively participate in the open science debate. Publishing Support brings together all available expertise in scientific publishing, and continues to update it based on the input and needs of researchers. If our team cannot answer your question we will refer you to the most appropriate support office.
You can contact Publishing Support for tailored advice, to take advantage of the knowledge we gained through years of guidance of publishing projects. Previously, we helped editors of scientific journals through the so-called incubator model on the road to a sustainable future, now we also support individual researchers and research groups in finding an appropriate publishing strategy with as wide a reach as possible.
On the Publishing Support website you can also find impact stories from researchers. We are curious about your experiences. Do you want to share your story? Please contact us.
