UGlobe has a new website

UGlobe

Global challenges, like climate change, increasing inequality, poverty, conflicts, breaches of human rights and citizens’ concerns about identity, cannot be solved from the perspective of just one discipline. UGlobe brings together people from different backgrounds and disciplines to explore and study these challenges and to contribute to innovative solutions. To find out more, please take a look at the new website: www.uu.nl/uglobe.

Through UGlobe, Utrecht University offers the platform for education and research on issues related to the contested global order, and for academic and societal debate about the global challenges the world is faced with today. UGlobe’s Global Studies programme organises events like lectures, masterclasses, career events and a UGlobe summer school, all of which aim to bring students working on international issues together.

The Centre, launched 1 January 2017, is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance.
