Submit a workshop proposal for the OnderwijsFestival

The annual OnderwijsFestival will take place on Thursday 6 March 2025. This event is the stage for the UU education community to come together, exchange ideas and knowledge about the quality and latest developments in education, and celebrate education at UU together. The day is organised for and by teachers, (teaching) staff and students who are interested in or working in the field of education.

The event takes place in the University Hall (Academiegebouw), and features a varied programme from 9:00 to 18:00 o’clock full of workshops, mini-lectures, debates, etc.

This year, we would also like to invite you to submit a workshop proposal!

Topic OnderwijsFestival 2025

This year, there is an overarching theme: the personal and professional development of students and staff at UU. This includes topics such as socialisation, resilience or academic freedom. We look forward to seeing your proposals around these topics. Is there a hot topic that really shouldn't be missing from the upcoming OnderwijsFestival, besides these topics? We look forward to seeing those proposals as well.

Open Call: Research your own teaching (SoTL)

Each year, the OnderwijsFestival also pays special attention to projects that build a bridge between our education and the (research informed) knowledge about that education. With a talk or poster, you can share plans for or results of educational research. Interested, or want to know more? Then go to this web page.
