Studium Generale spring program now online

What happens when a cyberattack knocks out the city's power supply, and how do we keep our heads above water during extreme rainfall? How do we stay afloat when systems that seemed self-evident suddenly falter?

With our Studium Generale programme, we want to show that research is relevant to many more people than it might seem at first glance. The themes we address concern everyone, regardless of political affiliation. From how we prepare for major crises to how climate change is putting pressure on our systems. These are challenges we all face.

This spring, we will once again present different perspectives. We will ask the bigger questions that lie behind current issues: what makes us who we are? How reliable is our memory? What do we do when the line between war and peace becomes blurred? And why is “intimate terror” often recognised far too late?

Will we see you at our venues?

We will be back on 2 February. We look forward to seeing you in the theatre, but you can always watch and join in from home via the live stream on our YouTube channel. Sign up for the newsletter and follow us on or Instagram to stay up to date with any changes. Will you join us in our discussions?
