The open call for funding from the HAI SIG AI, Ethics and Law resulted in 2 applications last December, both of which were awarded. 

Joris Graff, Jan Broersen (both Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Humanities faculty) and Henry Prakken (Department of Information and Computing Sciences, Science faculty) received a grant for the organisation of a two-day workshop on Opportunities and limitations of artificial moral agents

Evelien Brouwer, Maarten Hillebrandt (both REBO faculty) and Federica Russo (Department of Mathematics, Science faculty) received a grant for the organisation of a one-day workshop on Defending democracy in times of AI and disinformation.
