Seasonal opening Botanic Gardens

Are you also so curious about all the changes at the Botanic Gardens in Utrecht? On Friday 1 March at 10.00 am, the gates will open to the public again. That means Tuincafé Botanica will also provide delicious food and drinks again.

During the winter closure, we worked hard on a number of innovations. We mention some of them:

💚 A new Geophyte section in the Discovery Garden, with plants that cope well with difficult conditions
💚 Expansion of the central route
💚 The Europe slope in the Rock Garden
💚 Enlarged and newly planted Eurasiatisc Steppe landscape
💚 Planting of the Evolution Garden
💚 The cacti wall in the Greenhouses
💚 Our new annual programme, also for families

The construction of the last part of the central route is unfortunately not yet finished, which is why you cannot walk the complete central route yet. And we are currently awaiting the new permit for the opening of the butterfly greenhouse. As soon as it is in, those doors will reopen as well.
