Save the date: Lea Ypi event

On Tuesday 7 November 2023, our research focus area hosts two events with Lea Ypi, Professor in Political Theory at the London School of Economics.

In the afternoon there will be a scholarly event on Ypi’s political philosophical work in progress on borders and territorial rights. In the evening, Lea Ypi will contribute to an event addressing issues related to post-conflict processes of reconstruction and peacebuilding. This event is part of a Studium Generale series.

Lea Ypi is the author of Global Justice and Avant-Garde Political Agency, The Meaning of Partisanship (with Jonathan White), and The Architectonic of Reason, all published by Oxford University Press. Her latest book, a philosophical memoir entitled Free: Coming of Age at the End of History, won the 2022 Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize and the Slightly Foxed First Biography Prize and is being translated into more than twenty languages.
