Research into entrepreneurship receives EU grant of 2.5 million euros

On Monday 3 November, the FIRES project (Financial and Institutional Reform for the Entrepreneurial Society) received a grant of 2.5 million euros from the European Union. The team of researchers will investigate how institutional reform in the financial markets and the labour market can ignite change in the entrepreneurial European landscape. The project was initated by Dr Mark Sanders (Law, Economics and Governance), who has formed an interdisciplinary team with scientists from the Faculties of Law, Economics and Governance; Humanities; and Geosciences.
