Requesting and renewing in WorldCat no longer possible with library card barcode

As from 1 February it is no longer possible to log in with the numbers on your library card.

To request library material from the collection of Utrecht University Library or to renew the loan period of borrowed material you need to log in with your Solis ID. Your Solis ID must be linked to your library card.

Please go to the service desk of the university library to have your card linked to your Solis ID. Or send an email to library@uu.nl stating your request.

No UU staff member?

Other visitors need to have their guest Solis IDs linked to their library cards or reading room cards as well. Please ask at the service desk or send an email to library@uu.nl.

Not in possession of a guest Solis ID yet? Please fill in this form. On presentation of a valid proof of identity your account will be activated at the service desk and linked to your library card/reading room card. From that moment on you can log in to WorldCat by entering your guest Solis ID.

If you need to renew the loan period of borrowed material and your Solis ID is not yet linked to your library card, please send an email to library@uu.nl.
