Registration open for High Performance Computing Spring School at Utrecht University

Want to take your scientific computing skills to the next level? Then take part in the HPC Spring School from 1 to 12 June 2026

The HPC Spring School consists of ten days of hands-on workshops led by experts from Utrecht University, SURF, and the Netherlands eScience Center. The program offers workshops for both beginners who are new to high-performance computing and more experienced users who wish to deepen their knowledge. You will learn how to use powerful computing systems to accelerate analyses, run large simulations and process large datasets. Topics include parallel and GPU programming, cloud computing and high-performance computing, alongside practical skills such as working with Bash and Git. 

Practical information

The HPC Spring School will take place from 1 to 12 June 2026 at Utrecht University. All workshops are in-person events located at Utrecht Science Park. 

The programme is designed primarily for researchers in the Netherlands, though a limited number of places are available for thesis students.  You can tailor your learning experience by registering for individual workshops that match your interests and skill level. Please register through the event website. Registration is free of charge but note that some workshops have prerequisites.
