Register now for the Modular Programme in Didactics for Continuing Education
Support for the development of Continuing Education
Utrecht University aims to provide a varied range of education for professionals alongside its regular education. To support lecturers in their development, the Continuing Education (CE) programme includes the objective of professionalising lecturers for CE. Based on a questionnaire among (prospective) CE lecturers and among CE stakeholders in the EWUU, an inventory was made of the need for further professionalisation of lecturers in didactics for CE. This showed that both CE lecturers and coordinators are in need of professionalisation in CE didactics, with some needing more guidance and others needing assistance regarding a design for CE.
Modular programme on didactics for CE
The programme offers participants insight into research in the field of didactics, specifically for CE. In order to meet different needs, a modular approach has been chosen, which also offers the possibility to work on personal learning goals/own cases. Each participant will at least take part in: intake interview, basic module (module 1), one follow-up module (module 2 or 3) and the wrap-up meeting. The follow-up module is flanked by working on own material/methods for CE, individual coaching and collegial exchange. Participants can also opt for both follow-up modules after the basic module.
Objectives
