Prof Seline Trevisanut on ‘Regime Interaction in Ocean Governance’ at Oxford
Prof Seline Trevisanut gave a presentation on ‘Regime Interaction in Ocean Governance’ at the Oxford PIL Discussion Group at All Souls College, Oxford University on 21 February 2019.
In her presentation Prof Seline Trevisanut addressed some of the questions being dealt with on Sustainable Ocean project. These include: what is ocean governance? Which are the different actors and instruments involved? How do they interact in dealing with ocean affairs? These questions are necessary to ask, in order to answer the overarching research question of the project: how can the law contribute to the sustainable use of the ocean and strike a balance between competing interests at sea?
She further presented and discussed the partial results of the research found from the Sustainable Ocean project workshop held last year in April 2018 on ‘Regime Interaction in Ocean Governance: Problems, theories and methods’ (report, pdf)
