Open Education Café Podcast
On 18 March the first Open Education Café took place. To help lecturers on their way in exploring the options of open education, this lunch café is organized by the Open Education core team in collaboration with Utrecht University Library. In the Open Education Café Utrecht University colleagues came to listen to our first guest: Judith van de Kamp.
Interview with Judith van de Kamp
Judith van de Kamp teaches Global Health at University College Utrecht and UMC Utrecht. Her teaching focuses on themes such as health inequalities and equity. To give students different perspectives on these themes, she decided to organise her teaching in an international and interdisciplinary way. She opened up her teaching to collaboration with students and lecturers from all over the world. As a result, her Utrecht students now work with partners from various countries and cultural contexts. To achieve this, Judith consciously uses working methods that encourage an open and intercultural mindset - an attitude that she believes is essential to tackle global health issues of our time.
