New multi-tenant building in USP

Utrecht University and the Utrecht Science Park Foundation selected Kadans Science Partner for the development of Plus Ultra Utrecht, a new sustainable multi-tenant building in the Utrecht Science Park. Plus Ultra Utrecht will be located on the Universiteitsweg between the university's David de Wied building and Nutricia Research.

Energy neutral campus

Plus Ultra Utrecht will be a future-proof and energy-neutral building. Primary energy consumption will be limited by low-energy installations and fully compensated by solar panels. In addition, Kadans is investing in numerous other sustainability components, entirely in line with Utrecht University's ambition for the USP. 

Kadans Science Partner will finance, develop, realise and operate the laboratory building. Plus Ultra Utrecht will provide over 22,000 m2 of office and laboratory space for R&D start-ups and scale-ups. The building will have a shared lab that will accommodate the full lifecycle of Life Sciences companies in the Utrecht Science Park.
