Marlou Slot and Philip Minderhoud win Breaking Science Heat 1

The first heat of Breaking Science 2018 on 9 April was won by physicsist Marlou Slot and earth scientist Philip Minderhoud. They will compete again in the final on 23 April, everyone is welcome to attend the final and support the contestants. Of course, you are very welcome to join heat 2 and heat 3 as well.

Breaking Science is a contest for young researchers organized by Utrecht University, to practice and improve the skill of pitching for an audience of laymen.
