Leadership Transition in Applied Data Science Steering Committee

We would like to wish a heartfelt farewell to Rick Grobbee, who is stepping down from his role as chair of the steering committee of the focus area Applied Data Science. 

We thank him sincerely for his efforts and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We are also pleased to announce that Derek Karssenberg will take over as the new chair of the focus area. Derek is an experienced and committed member and we are convinced that he will lead the committee successfully.

Furthermore, we are pleased to welcome Carl Moons as a new member of the steering committee. Carl brings a lot of experience and knowledge with him in the field of data science applied to the clinical domain, and we expect a lot from his contribution.
