Law student Anas Kjidâa wins ECHO Law & Tax Award

The national ECHO Awards were presented on Thursday 28 November. Anas Anas Kjidâa, Law student at Utrecht University, is the winner in the Law & Tax category. The ECHO Awards reward students who distinguish themselves through their vision and ability to create social impact.

Anas Kjidâa, is a student at Utrecht Law College. In the municipality of Enschede, Anas successfully led a youth participation project, actively involving young people in policy decisions that directly affect them. Alongside his work with the municipality, he is engaged with JONG053PRAATMEE and serves as a board member of the Young Twente Board. Anas advocates for collaboration between policymakers and citizens to amplify the societal impact of policies and to give young people a voice in the process. His dedication to youth participation, particularly within a legal context, highlights that he not only talks about change but actively makes it happen.
