Franck Meijboom starts project on innovative methods of animal research
NWO request granted
Animal testing has deepened our understanding of diseases and improved their treatments, yet it has also fueled ethical debates about acceptibility and trustworthiness of research with animals. Dr Franck Meijboom, assistant professor at the Faculties of Humanities and Veterinary Medicine, has therefore initiated a research project on innovative methods of animal research. The NWO has granted his request for the programme 'Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Innoveren' ('Responsible Innovation'').
