Four nutrition and immune fitness projects kicked off

Danone Nutricia Research hosted the kickoff session of the four selected research projects on 26 March 2019 in Utrecht. The awarded projects will all contribute to understanding the link between nutrition and immune fitness. This investment of 3 million Euros is a partnership between NWO Domain Applied and Engineering Sciences and Danone Nutricia Research. Prof. Johan Garssen played a pivotal role in this partnership. Utrecht University is participating in two of the four projects  with dr. Lucianne Groenink, dr. Betty van Esch, dr. Astrid Hogenkamp and dr. Frank Redegeld. Researchers from AMC and Wageningen University & Research were also awardees.
