At the end of September the Masterclass Didactics in education for professionals was completed. Within the Life Long Learning framework, Utrecht University aims to enhance its education for professionals. The Masterclass offers teaching staff a comprehensive pedagogical knowledge base and helps them to further develop their practical teaching skills. In a small-scale, interactive setting, participants further develop and enhance their skill set. The Masterclass Pedagogy in Education for Professionals is meant for senior academic staff with BKO and preferably SKO who are involved in teaching for professionals.

Life Long Learning

Teaching in post-academic education requires staff to develop additional didactical skills and to find new ways of interacting with advanced students. Utrecht University actively works towards Life Long Learning and has explicitly included this theme in her strategic plan. To this end, the programme Life Long Learning has been started, in which partners work together towards developing an attractive and inspiring range of courses, fine-tuned to the needs of the professional and the labour market. See this website for the offer.
