Evina Steinová and Annelies Kleinherenbrink win Humanities thesis awards

Annelies Kleinherenbrink en Evina Steinová, winnaars Facultaire Scriptieprijs 2012 (Geesteswetenschappen)

Evina Steinová (Master Medieval Studies) and Annelies Kleinherenbrink (Master Comparative Women's Studies) are the winners of the Faculty of Humanities’ thesis awards for the best academic and the most socially relevant thesis written in the past year. The winners were announced during the opening of the academic year of the Faculty of Humanities on 4 September.

Evina Steinová’s thesis "Biblical Material in the Latin Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles" has won the prize for the best academic thesis. The thesis with the greatest social relevance is "Revolutionizing Evolution: Evolutionary Psychology, Feminist Epistemologies, and the Reality of Time" by Annelies Kleinherenbrink.
