Come and see the UU-Utrecht Pride!

Since 2022, Utrecht University has participated annually in the Utrecht Canal Pride together with the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. This year is no different, and the festivities will kick off on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Will you come and wave to us?
Don't let your love go to waste
The theme of the boat on which 45 members from Utrecht University and 45 from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences are sailing this year is: 'Don’t let your love go to waste!'. So, don't throw your love away, but share it! Additionally, we are focusing on sustainability. We're reusing banners, using biodegradable balloons, and organizing a clothing swap/upcycle event prior to the festivities. From the leftover clothing, we will create an inclusivity flag for the boat.
The Utrecht Canal Pride was an unforgettable day full of love, fun and celebration. We had an important message: embrace yourself, celebrate each other. Everyone deserves the freedom to be themselves.
