Cheer on the finalists during Breaking Science
During the annual science communication competition Breaking Science starting researchers will have 3 minutes to pitch their research or a scientific concept from their field. Two winners will emerge from each preliminary round, known as a heat, and will go through to the final on Wednesday evening, 27 May.
Fancy hearing these pitches during the finale? You are welcome to come along to the Parnassos Cultural Centre from 19:00 - 21:00 to cheer on the participants.
The big finale
During the heats and finals, a jury will judge all pitches on content, clarity and connection. The winner of the final will receive €1500 to spend on attending conferences or summer courses.
