Cheer on participants during Breaking Science
During the annual science communication competition Breaking Science starting researchers will have 3 minutes to pitch their research or a scientific concept from their field. Will you also come to cheer on the contestants?
Heats and finale
A total of 30 candidates will compete during four heats:

| Heat 3 | Monday 19 May | 19:00-21:00 hrs |
| Heat 4 | Wednesday 21 May | 19:00-21:00 hrs |
Each heat will send two winners to the grand finale on Thursday May 29. This all takes place in the bar of Culture Center Parnassos. During the heats and finals, a jury will judge all pitches on content, clarity and connection. The winner of the final will receive €1500 to spend on attending conferences or summer courses.

About Breaking Science
Breaking Science is organized by Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht. Young scientists from all fields are extensively trained to present their research as well as possible on stage. The level is high and the ambition even higher! In just a pitch of only three minutes.
