AI-literacy e-modules for UU staff

Artificial intelligence is having an ever-greater impact on our society and, consequently, on education. This places significant demands on teachers. There are three new AI literacy e-modules available. This covers the basics of AI literacy: What is generative AI? What are the risks? How do you use it responsibly? And how do you write effective prompts?

Together, they form the series ‘Navigating Generative AI’:

  • Navigating Generative AI: Getting to know Generative AI
  • Navigating Generative AI: Responsible use of Generative AI
  • Navigating Generative AI: Writing better prompts

For teachers

There is a new AI support guide for teachers, which, in addition to the e-modules, contains all further support relating to generative AI in education, such as key considerations, workshops, practical examples, template presentation and the SIG Generative AI.

The modules were originally developed by the University Library for students and have been rewritten for staff by the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT). Do you have any questions or suggestions? Please contact us via generatieve-ai@uu.nl.
