2 PhD Positions in International Law

The Utrecht School of Law will be appointing 2 PhD researchers in international law within the ERC Starting Grant project ‘Accommodating New Interests at Sea: Legal Tools for Sustainable Ocean Governance’ (SUSTAINABLEOCEAN), headed by dr. Seline Trevisanut.

The research project aims to offer a theory of interest- and regime-interaction in ocean governance. It focuses on the interplay between the law of the sea, climate change law and energy law.

Applicants are expected to have a master's degree in law or international relations, and a profound knowledge of public international law. Knowledge of law of the sea, climate change law and energy law are considered assets. The application deadline is 15 December 2015.
