The best part is that you see both the technical and management side.

During my bachelor’s degree, I had the opportunity to specialize in hydraulic engineering. I was fascinated by how important and challenging can be. Floods, drinking water scarcity, and droughts are all challenges that we face now due to climate change. This in turn would negatively impact agriculture, domestic use, and energy production, to name a few things. So the next logical step for me was to dive deeper into this subject by doing the master of Water Science and Management here at UU.
During this master’s degree, I faced different challenges due to my background. Sometimes you lack a specific background, so you need to read and study more on a topic. Even those challenges were fun as you would learn a lot more on a subject. The best part is that you see both the technical and management side. I am passionate about sea level rise and its effects and would like to pursue a career in that field in the future.
