Admission and application
On these pages you will find information about the requirements and processes for admission to the Sustainable Development Master’s programme. The programme is a selective Master's degree and students holding a university Bachelor's degree and who can demonstrate a high level of knowledge, motivation and command of methods and skills in the field are considered for direct admission.
Applications are assessed in terms of the entry requirements, namely knowledge on sustainability issues, mathematics, natural processes, statistics, academic and research skills as well as motivation and talent, the subject of the Bachelor’s thesis, additional experiences with sustainability and English language skills.
If you are missing one of the entry requirements the admissions committee might propose an extra test before the start of your programme in order to prove your knowledge on the subject.
Students who hold a Dutch University of Applied Sciences degree who are admitted to the programme must complete a tailor made pre-master before starting courses. The pre-master usually consists of 30 EC worth of courses, which is equivalent to one year of extra study.
