Utrecht Science Park

Most Utrecht University studies occur at the Utrecht Science Park. The campus is located just outside the city, to the east, and is a short tram or bus ride from the city centre. Many students live on the campus in buildings such as one of the colourful Casa Confetti studentflats. When you study at UU, you can play sports at the Olympos sports centre, go to the Spar for groceries, have a drink at one of the café-restaurants and get your study materials at the various study related shops.

The university buildings were developed by famous architects to represent both the university’s and the city’s spirit. Near the university and student housing, you will find the academic hospital UMC Utrecht, Hogeschool Utrecht and the Botanic Gardens. Utrecht Science Park is a place that continues to grow as large companies have located their officices there over the past few years. Perhaps with an interesting internships in the future?
