This was the right programme for me to develop a tailor-made toolbox of skills, experiences and references for my future career

Daniel de Souza Turle da Silva

''Studying in the multicultural environment from the Utrecht University International Campus gave me the opportunity to challenge myself with different mindsets and cultures, connecting with and learning from other young professionals from all over the world. I was able to have contact with interesting backgrounds and share great international experience allowing me to learn and expand my personal and professional network.

The knowledge that I acquired through the academic year was not only by reading books and papers but also in relevant group discussions within a challenging environment where I could always find support from the teaching team.

Having my own independence and crafting experiences while doing diverse assignments, makes International Management the right programme for me to develop a tailor-made toolbox of skills, experiences and references which enables me to achieve further career aspirations.

The rich set of elective courses to choose combined with highly qualified professors and practical orientated teaching methods enriches the content of the programme that has been continuously evaluated and improved in consultation with students, lecturers and the business community.

I feel prepared to build an ethical global footprint and align operations with global strategy, with an adaptable mentality to manage cultural differences, mobilise diverse teams and do business in a complex international context. Whether to pursue opportunities within a multinational organisation, work overseas or simply work in a global environment.''

"Pursuing a graduate degree at Utrecht University was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The International Management programme did not only offer fascinating courses but provided an environment that facilitated individual and group learning as well as taking initiative. The professors were approachable and always ready to help with whatever question I had; they inspired me to do my best. Throughout the year, I learnt a great deal about the various fields in business and economics but what made all the difference to me is the encouragement of critical and analytical thinking. Thanks to the combined help of all the staff, the amazing learning facilities on campus and the plenty of extracurricular activities, I had an eventful year full of challenges and fun. I am ready to dive into the world of work but will always be grateful to my Alma mater for my education. "
