Pre-master's programmes

Information about the admission requirements, specific application procedure and required documents, can be found on your master's page under Premaster's programme or under Admission and application.

Pre-master’s programmes are only available to:

  • Dutch students.
  • international students with a Dutch educational background who do not need housing and who do not have or require a residence permit for study purposes.
  • refugee students with a Dutch residence permit or a W document.
  • Please note: students with a previous non-Dutch education are not eligible for a pre-master's programme.

Please check if your chosen programme offers a pre-master’s programme. If you are unsure about your eligibility and/or residence permit, you can send an e-mail to the contact person of your chosen programme. Include a copy of both sides of your permit. Please state clearly that you are enquiring about a pre-master’s programme.
